Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! Episode 7 starts with Tsubasa Shiki contemplating the ultimatum his grandmother has given him. On the way to school, he comes across Rena Natsukawa. Tsubasa discloses his problem and determinately states that he will rank among the top 10 students in his class.
Rena, who’s at the top of the class, offers to tutor him. She tells him to meet her at the library after school hours so that she can give him an individual tutor session. Being a part of the library authority, she can use her power to her advantage.
Now at school, Minami notices Tsubasa and Rena together, which puts her in a twofold state — she’s both excited and jealous. During class, she asks Tsubasa where he would like to study with her, but he declines. He also doesn’t tell her the reason behind the decision because he thought it would hurt her.
After classes, he goes to the library prep room to meet Rena, who diligently tutors him various subjects. After a cute study session, Tsubasa asks Rena if she could teach him for two more days. Impressed and excited, Rena immediately accepts but also states that she wants a reward. The episode ends with her asking Tsubasa to go on a date with her if he succeeds in his goal.
