On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, the official website for the An Archdemon’s Dilemma anime revealed that the anime is set to release in April. It has also posted a new trailer, along with the opening song and additional cast and staff. The opening song is named “Wakaranai Ai” which translates to “A Love I Can’t Understand”, performed by The Brow Beat.
The An Archdemon’s Dilemma (fully entitled An Archdemon’s Dilemma — How to Love Your Elf Bride) anime is an adaptation of the light novel of the same name, authored by Fumiori Teshima and illustrated by COMTA. The light novel is still ongoing with its serialization commencing in February 2017.
An Archdemon’s Dilemma is Set to Release in April 2024
The anime has revealed a key visual along with a new trailer and information about the staff and cast. It is currently preparing for an April 2024 release but a more accurate date will be revealed in the later weeks.
The new trailer for the upcoming anime series established that the narration will be by Toshiyuki Morikawa, who’s best known for his role in Bleach ( as Isshin Kurosaki) and Demon Slayer (Kagaya Ubayashiki).

The anime’s latest cast members include Hana Hishikawa as Chastille Lillqvist, Kisho Taniyama as Barbatos, Akane Misaka as Foll, Ayasa Ito as Manuela, and Tetsu Inada as Raphael Hyurandell. These members are joining cast members Yusuke Kobayashi as Zagan, a powerful sorcerer, and Kana Ichinose as Nephy, the gorgeous elf.
The director of the anime is Hiroshi Ishiodori (Kiss Him, Not Me; Duel Masters), with Keiji Gotoh supervising the animation at Brains Base Studio. Mina Osawa (Given) is in charge of the designing of the characters while Aya Yoshinaga is dealing with the scripts. Lastly, Yuma Yamaguchi is the composer of the much-awaited anime’s soundtrack.
